Olympics 2012: Carrying the flame
- The Olympic flame began its ceremonial journey to the site of the Summer Games in London this month. The flame is being carried in a relay by 8,000 torchbearers to spread the message of peace, unity, and friendship. It arrives at the opening ceremonies in London on July 27.
Prime Minister David Cameron says his government will look to cities like Boston in tackling the gangs he blames for helping spark Britain’s riots. Without diminishing the seriousness of that situation in any way, we did feel compelled to ask the question: What else could London learn from Boston?

- Two nights of rioting in London’s Tottenham neighborhood erupted following protests over the shooting death by police of a local man, Mark Duggan. Over 170 people were arrested over the two nights of rioting, and fires gutted several stores, buildings, and cars. (26 photos total)
