Ryan captured the shot: At Fish Pier, I noticed how the view with clouds and ships appeared with the sunlight behind me. The sun was covered on and off with the clouds. With 100mm-400mm lens I waited and was lucky to see another sailing ship pass along with a bird in the sky. The sun peeked out and I clicked off some frames. It does pay to wait and take more shots than you think.
